Module 1: Railroad Injury and Illness Summary
This module of the database contains information provided by each railroad to the Federal Railroad Administration on a monthly basis on Form FRA F 6180-55. This form summarizes a railroad's reportable injury/illness experience for a given month. A report must be filed, even when no reportable injuries/illnesses occurred during the report month. This module contains all 137,046 records submitted to the FRA during the period 1980-2001.
